Titanium Resources Group operates the Sierra Rutile mine, located in the southwest of Sierra Leone near the Imperri Hills, some 30km from the Atlantic Ocean. The Company is the largest private sector employer in Sierra Leone, and currently employs approximately 1,100 full time employees and contractors in several departments: mining, processing, engineering, technical services and administration.
The Sierra Rutile mine exploits a world class rutile deposit, operating its own state-of-the-art powerhouse and water reticulation facilities. The Company is currently in the process of expanding dredge capacity and upgrading the existing mineral processing facilities.
